After 100 days of spending and calling it “stimulus,” President Obama finally got the message that the government needs to cut back a little bit and do it’s part for the economy.

Yup! The administration is going to cut $100 Million from the budget with such things as:

  • Buying office supplies in bulk over at The Department of Homeland Security
  • Going “paperless” at The Department of Justice
  • Instructing The Department of Education to send schools laptops instead of desktops

Of course, there was no mention of cutting back on flyover photo-ops… but who wants to pour salt in that open wound?

Anyway, $100 Million seems like a lot of money to people like me… your Average Joan… so I thought I’d post this video to help you put it all in perspective.  $100 Million is just a drop in the bucket compared to the $4 Trillion Federal budget.
